Project Experience:
Ms. Richardson is the President of Lotspeich and Associates,
Inc. and also serves as a Project Manager and Systems Ecologist
for the firm. She holds a Master of Science degree in Biology
from Illinois State University.
Ms. Richardson has acquired over 12 years experience as a project
manager, systems ecologist, land manager, researcher, and educator,
during which time she has provided expertise in governmental
regulations, permitting, vegetation community analysis, wetland
assessment and mitigation, and protected species identification
and management.
As a project manager with Lotspeich and Associates, Inc., Ms.
Richardson brings to the project team an understanding of client/project
needs. She possesses strong leadership skills and the ability
to coordinate the various disciplines involved in each project.
Her recent project management experience includes administration
of a continuing services contract with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers to provide Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental
Assessments, wetland delineations, marine hardbottom and seagrass
surveys, and protected species surveys and management. Ms. Richardson
has also served as project manager or co-manager of several
Florida Department of Transportation road improvement and bridge
replacement projects throughout the State of Florida, including
both Project Development and Environmental studies and final
design.
Ms. Richardson is a certified wetland delineator under the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineator Certification Program
and has conducted numerous wetland assessments applying Federal,
State, and local guidelines.
Prior to joining Lotspeich and Associates, Inc., Ms. Richardson
assisted the Illinois Department of Conservation in land administration
and management. During her tenure with this agency, she participated
in the development of management plans for several State-owned
multi-use lands and conducted numerous quantitative and qualitative
population surveys throughout Illinois. |
