Confederate
Park located in “old” Jacksonville was developed in the 1920’s
nestled between the commercial and residential districts north
of the City. Our responsibilities were to provide landscaping,
period lighting, monument relocation (with foundation design)
and restoration, irrigation system design and fountain design
for an existing pond. The redevelopment of the park was considered
essential to the redevelopment of the adjacent neighborhood.
Coordination with the City of Jacksonville Parks and Recreation
Department and the Springfield Women’s Association was a key
element of the successful completion of the project.
